As often happens around here, the celebration was spread over several days.
A candle in his breakfast, a long-standing family tradition...
A treat for lunch. With another candle, just for good measure...
A box in the mail from Grandma the next day...
Followed by a family party a few days later...
Happy birthday my sweet, precious, five year old!
