And every time we do, I remember why we don't.
For one thing, Greg isn't a big fan. He prefers candids. But I can see why.
Mean, ol' me, I made him kindly requested he sit down for a picture with his boys on Father's Day right quick after church and before lunch.
We took four, and, believe it or not, this is the best one:
In addition to Alan hamming it up, Dale's hair sticking out, and Tyler's diaper bulging, you may also notice that Dale's shirt is untucked (I gave up fighting that battle a long time ago), and Tyler looks a little skeert.
But hey! Greg looks great!
How often do you try to gather the fam around for a posed shot? Any tips?
A photo like that is more interesting than a stiff posed shot. You're right, Greg looks great. :)
ReplyDeleteI don't remember the last time we had a family picture.
ReplyDeleteI think the pic looks great!
One word: Photoshop :)
ReplyDeleteI like it. I would not change a thing (other than you should be in it too). 30 years from now, those type pictures are priceless.
ReplyDeleteI am still laughing about this. Too funny! In Dale's defense, he did ask me to tuck his shirt in Sunday morning.
ReplyDeleteChristy
Christy - that is so funny that he asked you to do that. I had no idea!
ReplyDeleteWhy do all men hate pictures? I have to constantly remind Brian he'll be glad I took all these millions and millions of pics when we are old and lonely.
ReplyDeleteWe try and get one of all of us, whenever we can. I don't worry about how it turns out, as long as everyone is in it.
And I take all the kids together pretty often, again not really caring how it turns out (although I get lucky once in a while).
I'm not in any.
