While I am certain it is normally a good thing to have scripture stuck in your head...
entering the second long hour with your restless newborn in the wee hours of the night is not the time to be meditating on Psalm 4:8 -
"I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep..."
That's just torture, right there.
Bless your heart...I well remember the sleepless nights, and I feel for you. Hope you get a nap today!
ReplyDeleteMichelle is right. I think sometimes as Moms we feel like we should use NapTime/QuietTime to clean the bathroom and kitchen...but, especially with newborns who aren't sleeping well...use NapTime to N-A-P!
ReplyDeleteHope things settle down for you soon!
Loved the new pictures!! What a smile already!!
ReplyDeleteHang in there, Mom! Things do get better! You're just the one who can do it! You continue to amaze me!
Love,
Sharon
